{pretty, happy, funny, real}

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Every Thursday, at Like Mother, Like Daughter!

{pretty}
My clearance shamrock from St. Patrick's day has bloomed again!  Bigger was so excited to see the flowers and count them.

{happy}
So happy to be on the way to the Phillies game.  Well, I think happy had more to do with being on the train and not so much where we were going or what we would be doing.  Because we did a lot more walking around than watching baseball.  But it was happy.  :)

{funny}
Some children sleep with a security blanket or teddy or some other snugglie but not mine.  My kid naps with a big ol' flashlight.  And his mama takes pictures.

{real}
My boys like their naked time.  And they like their fruit.  And Mama likes her Coke.  It's a very serious real food flaw.  I'm blaming it on having been sick for almost the last two weeks.  But really, that's probably just an excuse.  Really, I just really like soda.

I have some kids who would love to ride on a train too. Sleeping with a flashlight? very cute!

I had a couple of kids who did the sleep-with-the -flashlight bit for a while. A train ride would be a happy time indeed.

Thank you for the visit.

It's okay...it took me awhile to give up Coke too. It's been over 2 years since I've had a sip and I honestly don't miss it at all!

That is one happy boy riding the train! My now 13 year old used to sleep with his plastic sword, and I photographed it to. Those things are just too cute to not take pictures of!

My little falls asleep in the weirdest places and positions (and if I have a camera on hand, I snap a photo). :)
