~ Capturing the context of everyday life ~
Every Thursday at Like Mother, Like Daughter!
{pretty}
Outside one of the local churches there is a statue of John Paul II. We were there for The WeatherMan to volunteer for the Knights and so the boys and I wandered a bit to keep them entertained. And out of trouble.
{happy}
Once a month we take part in a group produce buy and here what was in our box. Oh, and a bag of spinach that somehow missed the photo op (because I took it out and put it behind me while unpacking the rest of it.) Yum!
{funny}
Can you see it? Sorry I can't turn it rightside up. The point was to put everything where it belonged. The Bigger Boy did it all quickly and when I figured out his logic I laughed and laughed.
{real}
Here is the context for the {pretty} picture. The boys liked checking it all out. And when they started opening all the votive holders it was time to move on. I love their curiousness and desire to see how everything works. But I'd rather they not burn themselves or set themselves on fire. Or any number of other senarios that I just can't start thinking up or I wont be able to fall asleep tonight because somehow they always know how to out-do anything I might think up to worry about. The joy of little boys :)

Nice post! Your Church looks beautiful...show us the interior sometime?
I get nervous around fire (candles, etc.), and I don't have any kids!
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Cute!
Great post! That's a neat statue!
