Yarn Along

So there still hasn't been a whole lot of progress on the project front around here.  Since last week we've pretty much regained our health, celebrated two birthdays, survived one work rotation, and a Valentines complete with a doctor's appointment and blood draw.

My yarn snarl is still a big ol' snarl.  The quilt top has made it into strips that just need pressing and sewing together (why can't I get those 5 seams sewn?)  The BSJ has had it's stitches counted, twice (because after counting one stitch too many I made the WeatherMan count too.)  I knit one whole row on the BSJ.  It's going to be pale yellow and white and I hope big enough for a newborn.  I'm thinking little yellow duckie buttons, provided I can find some.

I did finish Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire.  I find it much easier to pick up and put down books than projects since I can't even get 5 minutes to myself these days.  And by bedtime I am so tired that the possibilities of errors is really intimidating, plus just being tired and wanting nothing more than to sit on the couch in my jammies and spacing out.  Now I'm trying to make a dent in Life of Pi otherwise I fear it will sit next to my bed with a bookmark at chapter 8 forever.

And now it's time to be off to link up with Ginny and see what else is going on, not that I need the distraction but I so love it :)

That yellow is going to make a gorgeous BSJ, and yellow duckie buttons sound perfect!

Hope Life of Pi makes progress too ;)

Oh, I love the yellow yarn. Check out Etsy for the buttons, they have everything!
Happy Yarn Along!

You will get more time to yourself soon...suddenly your kids get older and don't 'need' you as much as before (at least needing you in the sense of how a typical young child needs you - that is physically tiring).

I agree with everyone else! Love the yellow yarn. I try to keep a button collection going and yet I always need to run out and buy more buttons :/

Yeah, it takes me a while to visit all the Yarn Along blogs each week, too. But so worth it!
