Small Successes

FaithButton
Sherry at Chocolate for your Brain hosts this chance to share the small successes in our week.  Some weeks it's a major chore to come up with anything and some weeks are just productive on their own.  So this week I have:

*made a blueberry pie with my mom and my boys.  Oh so yummy!

*cleaned out stuff stored at my parents' house and took 2 boxes and a trash bag full of stuff over to the Hospice Thrift Shop :)

*found my Anne of Green Gables books and am looking forward to reading them again
*helped my mom clean out her closet and the linen closet and took another 4 trash bags and a garment bag over to Hospice :)

*got a hair cut :)
I'm happier with the cut than the expression suggests - I was in the middle of a conversation while trying to get a pic for the blog.  Maybe I'm easily distracted but I guess it sounds better to say I'm a multi-tasker.  ;-)

It seems like a lot of people are cleaning & decluttering lately. Congrats on all your successes! Your hair looks great, too!

I can't quite tell in the photo, so I have to ask: Are you wearing a hairband with your new haircut? That same hairstyle with that same accessory has always been my favorite "look." I've tried to get all four of my daughters to do their hair that way, but have had limited success! Oh, well. At least YOU appreciate the look. It sure does flatter you!
