Yarn Along

Hurray for Wednesday and writing about books and projects!  And that you Ginny for being an enabler... organizing each week's inspiration :)
Here's where we stood last night - a stack of books and an almost finished BSJ.  I'm almost finished with The 10 Habits of Happy Mothers and am reading bits of several others.  I'm looking forward to finishing it so I can get into some novels for a little while.  I need a thinking break :)

As for projects I'm looking forward to being finished and starting on something new.  Not that I don't love the BSJ but that I like being done ;-)  And not that I'm not still working on enjoying the process more.  I haven't even decided on a next project yet.

Sorry for the short nature of this post - I have been up basically since 4:30 this morning with a little critter who wants to nurse.  But who is now banned from our bed during the night (in the hope of convincing him to sleep through the night.)  And he does not like this new arrangement.  So when I was trying to keep him in his crib a little longer this morning he was not happy.  I made the mistake of asking him to wait a minute and while I went to the bathroom (because if you have to start your day that early you should at least get to go potty without an audience, especially one who is whining and pawing at you.)  While I was gone he got himself up on the rail of the crib and fell out.  He's fine.  But it's a rough start to the day on top of being an early start to the day :(   So here we are, 6AM and whining away.  No where to go but up.  And maybe I'll finish some things up.

Ouch, that does sound like a rough start to the morning!

Love the colours of your BSJ, but I know what you mean about wanting it to be done so you can work on something else ;)

Oh! I hope he is okay. I remember those days well. When our son could climb that was when we switched to a "little boy bed". I would then worry all night that he would be out and about the house!! I hope you get some rest today :)

Glad he's OK.

Thinking breaks are good as are sleeping breaks. Hope you get some soon. The color combo of the knitting looks nice. Pale mustard and grey?

Hugs on the early riser... I am groggy right now after an early rising Toddler climbed in my bed this morning. Migraine followed and now I am good for nearly nothing. Hope the sleep gets sorted soon!

i will think of you if the kiddos wake me up five times like they did last night! does it ever end? i think people tell me yes, but i am not sure...lol...glad your little one survived his fall so mama could pee. if that doesn't sum up the demands on us, i don't know what does!
