{pretty, happy, funny, real}

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Every Thursday at Like Mother, Like Daughter!
{pretty}
Nice, clean kitchen.  No dishes in the sink.  Doesn't happen often, I'm sorry to say.  But very pretty.

{happy}
A break during an afternoon dance party.  I love the boys' smiles :)

{funny}
The boy needs some yoga.  And maybe some ballet.  And perhaps some karate.  And definitely a greater appreciation for pants.

{real}
Books, books everywhere.  A pack of wipes and who knows what on the shelves.  And there I am having a knit banana photo shoot.   Chipping nail polish and all.  I need to get some nail polish remover....

Great pic of you and the boys. My boys didn't appreciate pants either. It took a long time. Now the challenge is to get them to take off the pants to wash them.

I would love to see a clean kitchen, every time I turn around there is another dish!:) The boy's smiles are contagious!

Ah, yes, boys and their (lack of) pants! Thankfully, mine is more willing to wear them now that he's ten, but if he had his way, he'd wear shorts all year 'round.

And there are very few things as lovely as a clean kitchen. Good job! Now I suppose I should go take care of mine...

A knitted banana - now that's a new one for me. :)
I like your pretty - it's important to chronicle these things! Your happy is pretty, too!

What is it with boys hating pants. LOL! It feels so good when the kitchen is clean. Good luck on the sleep issues. My kiddos suffered through that for awhile.
Blessings,
Dawn

..."a greater appreciation for pants.." LOVE. THAT. And I do love the "knit banana shoot" as well. :) Your house looks like fun.

I have one who never wears pants either! People come over and say "Do you EVER wear pants?" I put them on, we go out, we come back in and they disappear. Looks like he's in good company.

Such great pictures!

Sorry.. unless it's snowy out, pants are way too overrated. Especially if you have pretty nifty undies! ;-)
