Yarn Along - 6/15

Wednesday is the day for posting books and projects.  Not that books and projects aren't fair game every day of the week but today's post is dedicated to them.  :)  Oh happy day!

My parents are up to visit and they always bring up our mail with them.  Which this trip also included some online shopping and books from Paper Back Swap.  22 books to be exact.  3 sale and secondhand books.  16 skeins of yarn.  probably 7 pounds of fabric.  and 2 circular knitting needles :)  It's like Christmas in June.

This fabulous collection has been accumulating since January.  Our trip down to visit has been pushed back so many times because of work schedules that we hadn't gotten down to retrieve it.  It's been so long I don't remember what all I had planned for some of it!  I'm sure I'll put it to good use though :)  Same with the books - I don't remember what I attracted me to some of them but there must have been something that interested me so I'll read them.  I'm really looking forward to Miracle of 34th Street by Valentine Davies and illustrated by Tomie dePaolo, The Lessons of St. Francis by John Michael Talbot, Mountains of Spices by Hannah Hurnard, and How Do You Tuck in a Superhero? by Rachel Balducci.  I think those are on their way to the top of the to-be-read list :)

Head over to small things to check out what else is being read and made in the blogosphere :)

7 pounds of fabric?!? I would well be in my glory. What an awesome load of goodies to receive.
I always forget what I originally chose a fabric for, but something always comes to me. Have fun creating! :)
