Yarn Along

I love books and yarn.  :)  And this is the post for both.  Head over to check out what else is going on around the interwebz and share your reading and projects at small things
Knit wise there's nothing new on the needles.  Trying to find time to work on my mom's scarf when there aren't little hands to "help" or distract me from where I am in the pattern.  It's good (for me) she still has a few months before retirement.  Just 62 days, right Mom?  :)

Book wise I'm still reading A Little History of Canada and still enjoying it.  But then again, I would probably enjoy just about anything where the author uses words like vexing, bedeviled, parsimonious, and obdurate.  Yes, I'm aware that I'm a nerd.  I'm good with it.

I also just got Organized Simplicity by Tsh Oxeneider.  I had put a hold on it at the library and waited weeks for it.  I'm only on page 22 so I can't say much about it except that it looks like something I'll enjoy and get a lot out of.  And since I'm pretty sure there are more holds on it I wont be able to renew it so I have to really get through it.

I am looking forward to picking up Organized Simplicity. I don't think I can honestly organize our small apartment any more efficiently, but maybe someday, when we have a house!!

That Organized Simplicity book seem to be popping up a lot. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about it!
I'm going to check at the library for your history book...

I am always renewing books at the library, so I frequently find myself surprised by the need to hurry when it's a "hold book" that I need to read and return for the next person on the list. I had to do that with Tina Fey's new book recently. I'll have to look for Organized Simplicity -- seems like something I might find helpful, too.

Good luck with the scarf! I have a long list of projects waiting for me, whenever that magical uninterrupted time happens! Blessings to you and yours.

I think I would like the organizing book. I am looking forward to hearing what you think. Maybe this week will be a knitfest kind of week !

I have been wanting to read organized simplicity also. Last time I looked our library didn't have it. I may check back. I will be interested to see what you think.
Blessings,
Kirsten
