{pretty, happy, funny, real}

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Every Thursday at Like Mother, Like Daughter!

{pretty}
Lovely fresh beans from the farmer's market, given to us by a kind neighbor, made all the more beautiful by boys who typically reject such crunchy veggies who noshed away on them.
{happy}
"Onward to the library, Pops!"

{funny}
They were playing "pack to go to Bapa and Fava's" hours before we told them we actually were going to Bapa and Fava's.  Of course they were packing the essentials - every car, train, and truck they could find :)

{real}
Quick!  Name that really useful engine!

And please check out my giveaway!  (I'm so excited to be able to say that!)

Is the engine Percy? He looks familiar! My daughter takes Percy and Topam Hatt everywhere... we can't find Thomas right now. What a fun day it looks like you had!

I'm voting on Percy too. But it has been years since we pulled out the Thomas the Tank engine toys :)

I like your older son's look of regalness as he stands holding the pillow case over his arm. He could be a king addressing his royal subjects! Thanks for posting.

Percy? He's my favourite!

Yup, Percy. He is Littler's favorite (perhaps because being the younger brother he is automatically stuck as sidekick.)
